Drawing inspiration from its sister restaurants, Fish Shop and Beach House, Bar Pez is committed to offering a refined yet casual dining experience. They needed a brand and website that reflected this commitment to balancing simplicity and quality.

Our approach centred on a simple design that is authentically rooted. We developed a visual identity influenced by Basque typography and the bar’s timber details, that captures the essence of Bar Pez’s ethos. To add a whimsical touch, hand-drawn wine glass characters were integrated into the design, bringing a friendlier face to the serious business of the wine connoisseur.

The menu reflects the same clean, minimal aesthetic, using simple materials and single-colour printing. Every detail evokes a grounded, earthy elegance.

The website was designed to reflect the brand’s unpretentious aesthetic, utilising a restrained colour palette and straightforward navigation to highlight essential information. A key feature is the meticulously curated 300-bottle wine list, which underscores the restaurant’s refined yet accessible character.
