We’re trialling a 9-day fortnight in 2025 with great benefit to our team and our work. Every other Friday our office will be closed, as we take time off to refresh, revitalise and restrengthen.
Design has consistently been subject to a culture of long working hours. At Unthink, we have rejected this, believing it is not necessary for thriving projects. Time away from the office can be equally enriching, providing perspective, energy, and wellbeing. Results have demonstrated that people get more done when they work fewer hours, and less done when they work more hours.
March – 14th
April – 11th
May – 23rd
June – 20th
July – 4th, 18th
August – 1st, 29th
September – 12th, 26th
October – 10th, 24th
November – 21st
December – 5th
So you’ve spotted we’re not closed every second Friday, in the fortnights which already include a bank holiday, we’ll be coming in on the Friday. So it’s still technically a 9-day fortnight. 😉
More time enables us to pursue our personal endeavours; from hiking to making music, travelling or hitting the sea. Or simply taking the time to get on top of life. More time allows us to tend to our personal relationships; with families, friends and ourselves.
A healthy studio culture is inspiring to us, and the people we work with.
We have evaluated our internal processes to streamline our days, leaving plenty of time for beautiful projects to emerge.
When our team is happy and refreshed, we have the additional capacity to focus on you and your project, and how we can bring exceptional design and wellbeing into your home.
